GW Pins? - Guild Wars Forums

I was just wondering what these "pins" were, like where they came from, I saw someone selling them in LA dis1

and also saw on the auctions here for the contemplation of purity and energy surge. Is this some sort of joke or was a special item from an event?

The pins were given out, in sets of two at E3, San Diego Comic-Con, Gen-Con and PAX (here in the US anyway). There is info about them on the official site, but I don't have a link handy.

i wonder if theres a way the people that didnt go to those could get a set?

two skill pins come with the Nightfal Collector's Edition.....

I have seen full pin sets (8 pins) on Ebay. Horribly overpriced (IMO), but as people were buying them... I guess it was worth that much to them.

The most recent guild emblem contest is also giving full sets to the winners. But that doesn't really help much since you can no longer enter.
